The publications of the American Ukrainian Medical Foundation (AUMF) have had a significant influence on the development and acceptance of Ukrainian medical terminology and have given Ukrainian physicians and researchers an access to the International medical literature. They also have led to the wide use of English language at Ukrainian academic institutions.
